This brief presents the main elements underpinning the MAPS Programme practice at national level to date. It illustrates the “how” and “why” of the MAPS experience at country level and generate a common understanding of MAPS processes: what we do, how we do it, and why we do things as we do them – in other words, what we will be calling the MAPS DNA.
